Introducing Our Newest Team Member, Liyah Desher!

Introducing our newest team member, DHPSNY Education & Outreach Specialist Liyah Desher (and cat, Bandit)!

Liyah joins us from the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts, where she served as Preservation Services Assistant. She holds a BA in Communication and History from Drexel University and recently received a fellowship placement with Drexel University's Urban Sexuality Lab, where she created the LGBTQ Philadelphia Historical Places Database.

For DHPSNY, Liyah manages and implements educational programs and outreach services to libraries, archives, museums, historical societies, and other organizations throughout NYS. Read her full bio at bit.ly/LiyahDesher.
