Findnyculture.org is a new and exciting resource developed by the New York State Education Department's Office of Cultural Education to connect teachers to New York's cultural education community. Participating organizations can promote programs, resources, and events for free. The project will also be the most comprehensive list of New York State's cultural organizations, providing opportunities for networking, research, disaster preparedness, and more.

While this year draws to an end, we're already looking ahead to the first Planning & Assessment Services applications of the New Year. The deadline for the first application period of 2020 is Friday, March 20. Applications for DHPSNY's services are accepted year-round and will be reviewed twice in 2020. The New York State Archives has announced the new guidelines and application materials for the 2020-2021 Documentary Heritage Program (DHP) grants. DHP grants are designed to build a more comprehensive and equitable documentation of New York State’s history and culture by supporting projects that identify, survey, collect, arrange, describe, and make available records that relate to groups and topics traditionally under-represented in the State’s historical record.
