Coronavirus in New York State

Dear DHPSNY Community,

We wanted to assure you that DHPSNY is closely monitoring the evolving situation around COVID-19 and implications for our upcoming programs, include the Spring Workshop Series, Essential Policies & Procedures for Collecting Institutions, and our series of Conversations on Local History. The health, safety, and well-being of our community are top priorities.

We will continue to keep attendees, as well as the larger DHPSNY community, apprised of any changes in our programming. We will communicate with attendees via email and phone and will also post announcements on our website and social media channels.

In addition, we are aware that some organizations are restricting non-essential travel and many individuals are limiting their own travel out of caution. Regardless of whether our Essential Policies & Procedures for Collecting Institutions programs continue as planned in person, we are investigating the possibility of developing an online version in order to ensure our program is accessible to all.
