The Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) in Philadelphia is seeking a Preservation Specialist for the Documentary Heritage and Preservation Services for New York (DHPSNY) program.

Documentary Heritage and Preservation Services for New York (DHPSNY) is a unique program in both its structure and its services, so it comes as no surprise that we often get asked about DHPSNY and the assistance we provide to New York State organizations. DHPSNY is a joint program of the New York State Library and New York State Archives, which are overseen by the NYS Office of Cultural Education. The deadline to apply for the DHPSNY Fall 2022 Planning & Assessment Services Round has been extended — we will now be accepting applications until midnight EST on Friday, November 18!
Accepted sites will have the option of choosing in-person services for Archival Needs Assessments, Strategic Planning Assistance, Preservation Surveys, and Condition Surveys. Sites can elect to receive virtual services if preferred.

In our most recent webinar presentation co-facilitators Aria Camaione-Lind and Meredith Horsford used the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum Alliance as a case study to explore organizational policy that yields antiracist results. Aria and Meredith introduced sample statements and policies that have supported antiracist action at other organizations, and invited conversation and participation around creating statements and policies for organizations in attendance.
