Thanks to Everyone Who Applied for Planning & Assessment Services

The deadline has passed for the fall 2016 round of DHPSNY's Planning & Assessment Services, and as postmarked applications continue to roll in, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who took the time and effort to apply! It's been exciting to see such a diverse pool of strong applications from institutions small and large representing every area of the state. We have received applications in each of DHPSNY's three service categories from historical societies, museums, public and academic libraries, and more.

The advisory committee will begin the review process shortly, and applicants for each service will be notified of a decision by December 7, 2016. Just a reminder that participants in the Strategic Planning curriculum should be prepared to attend their first webinar on Tuesday, December 13, at 10 AM, and applicants for both Archival Needs Assessments and Preservation and Conservation Surveys should be prepared to schedule a site visit before April 30, 2017.
