Buffalo Workshop Added November 29

For all of our friends at institutions in northwestern New York, we're excited to announce a third presentation of our fall workshop, Understanding Archives: An Introduction to Archival Basics, at SUNY Buffalo State (Buffalo State College) on November 29. This will be the same workshop as presented earlier in the month at locations in Highland and Glens Falls, exploring the fundamentals of archival appraisal and acquisition, proper storage materials, and some of the most common preservation problems found with paper-based archival collections. Participants must register by November 20 to guarantee a free parking permit, though registration will remain open up to 24 hours before the workshop.
