Registration is currently open for our Tuesday, November 27 webinar Duties & Responsibilities of Nonprofit Boards. This session provides a broad overview of the fiduciary, ethical, and policy making responsibilities of the board. It covers the key functions of the board and provides practical guidance and an overview of best practices for board members to individually and collectively achieve excellence in governance performance.

The New York State Archives is pleased to announce the availability of the guidelines and application for the 2019-2020 Documentary Heritage Program (DHP) grants. DHP grants support improved access to historical records in New York State by funding arrangement and description projects and documentation projects. We're excited to announce a new class of Planning & Assessment Services sites from our summer application round of 2018. We look forward to beginning site visits for the following institutions in the coming weeks. Application materials for DHPSNY's Planning & Assessment Services are accepted year-round and reviewed three times a year. The next application review deadline is Friday, November 16th.
